Arlon’s Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Arlon collects, uses, shares, maintains, protects and discloses information collected from you or that you may provide when you interact with Arlon through our website, mobile application, products and services. This Policy explains what information Arlon collects, when and how Arlon might use that information, how Arlon protects the information, the choices you have with respect to your personal information and how you can contact Arlon if you have any questions or concerns.  You consent to the use of information that is collected or submitted as described in this Privacy Policy. I.  Information You Provide To Arlon:

The types of information Arlon collect depends on your use of Arlon’s products and services, the ways that you interact with Arlon and its business and what information you choose to provide to Arlon.   For example,

  • You may submit data to Arlon so that Arlon can respond to inquiries and provide you with information you request regarding Arlon’s products and/or services. The categories of personal information that Arlon may collect include identifiers such as contact details i.e. your name, email address, physical address, and phone number.
  • Arlon collects pre-employment information in connection with job opportunities you may apply for, as well as employment information in connection with its employees and contractors.

II. Arlon Automatic Collection of Information:

  • Arlon collection of information through automatic data technology collection tools on its website is limited to the use of collecting anonymized user statistics from Google Analytics as a third party web analytic service. Google Analytics’ collection process may include collection of your personal information, including your IP address.  You may opt out of Google Analytics collection of your personal information, by visiting the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on located here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Arlon itself does not collect personal information through the use of cookies Arlon directly employs on its website.  Arlon’s use of Google Analytics as a third party tool may employ cookies that collects your personal information independently of Arlon and is not shared with Arlon.  For more information, you should consult Google’s privacy policy.

III. Arlon Collection of Information from Other Sources.

  • Arlon may obtain information about you from our current or future corporate parents, subsidiaries, affiliates or investment opportunities.
  • Arlon may obtain information about you from publicly and/or commercially available sources, including but not limited to, third-party publishers or advertising or social media. 
  • Arlon may obtain information about you from our third party networks (including distributors for our products/services), service providers, and other third parties that we have a business relationship with and as permitted by law or agreement.

IV. Arlon De-Identified Information

Arlon may collect information that is de-identified so that personal information is anonymized. Arlon’s use and disclosure of such de-identified information that is anonymized of personal information is not subject to any restrictions under this Privacy Policy, and Arlon may disclose it to others without restriction for any purpose.

V. Arlon’s Use of Information.

Arlon may use your information for various business purposes, including to:

1.Provide, manage,  maintain, administer and improve Arlon’s website.

2. For the performance of Arlon’s agreement with you. For example, fulfill and manage orders and process transactions for Arlon’s products/services.

Arlon may disclose information to:

  • Arlon’s third-party service providers who help Arlon to operate or improve our website or to assist with Arlon’s business processes and/or as necessary to provide Arlon’s products/services, including Arlon’s third-party distributors who resell Arlon’s products/services.
  • Arlon may disclose information Arlon collects when Arlon  believes disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law or to enforce or apply applicable terms and conditions and other agreements. Arlon may also disclose information about you if Arlon believes that your actions are inconsistent with Arlon’s Terms of Use or related guidelines and policies, or if necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of, or prevent fraud or abuse of, Arlon or others.

Arlon does not sell your personal information to a third party or share your personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Where Arlon has collected and processed your personal information with your consent, you may withdraw your consent as provided for within this Privacy Policy and to the extent permitted by law.  Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing that Arlon conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

  • Right to Deletion: You may have the right to request the deletion of personal information that Arlon has collected relevant to your request under certain circumstances.

For example, if you in good faith believe that personal information Arlon processes about you is incorrect or unlawful.  
  • Right to Object or Opt-Out.  You  may have the right to object to and/or opt out of the processing of personal information relevant to your request under certain circumstances or as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy.

For example, Arlon may need to retain or share certain personal information for legitimate business purposes, to complete transactions you have requested, to comply with our legal obligations, and for other purposes as required or permitted by law. IX. Miscellaneous.

Data Retention. Arlon may retain information  for legitimate business needs including, but not limited to, not communicate with you if you have asked us not to, to detect and prevent abuse of our website, illegal activities, breaches of our Terms of Use or to comply with applicable legal, tax or accounting requirements. When Arlon has no legitimate business need to retain your information, we will either delete it consistent with Arlon’s data retention and deletion policy  or take steps to de-identify or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law.

Security. Arlon employs industry standard technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information that is under Arlon’s control and that Arlon processes on your behalf from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal, both during transmission and once Arlon receives it.  Despite the foregoing, Arlon cannot guaranty the security of information and information you provide is at your own risk.

Third Party Websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that you have provided or made accessible to third parties.  Arlon’s website may utilize a third-party service, such as Google Analytics. Disclosure of information to these third parties is subject to the relevant third party’s privacy policy. Arlon is not responsible for the third party’ use of your information.

Children’s Personal Information.  Arlon’s website, products and services are directed to adults and are not intended for children i.e. individuals under 18 years of age. Arlon does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under the age of 13 or equivalent minimum age in the applicable jurisdiction. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to Arlon. If Arlon learns we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13, Arlon will take reasonable steps to delete that information as soon as practicable.
